Mine Diving - Cave diving skills and equipment can be used to dive man-made cave systems too. Abandoned mines that were dug below the natural water table often flood once the mine operation ceases and any pumps are turned off. The waters are often still, no flow or current, and visibility can be incredible.
.
But extra problems can also be present like toxic gas build up in dry spaces or instability. A cave in more likely in certain types of mines that it is in a naturally formed cave.
.
Mine diving can be like combined Wreck Diving and Cave Diving - moving through a piece of hidden history frozen in time.

The geology helped Neolithic people build complex structures and to look at this we rigged a massive death slide to North Gaulton Castle.
This sea stack is only reachable by rigging over 2ams of rope (or heli if you have a spare one).
And incredible place.

I get asked how skydivers know when to deploy their parachutes. We know because of the altitude we’re at. And we know that because we carry Altimeters (Altitude Meters).
.
They can be worn on the left wrist of chest and we also have access to audible ones we were in our helmets.
